1. Principle for personal data processing

The purpose of this document is to familiarize you with how our company handles your personal data and what your rights are in relation to the personal data we process about you.

2. Basic information on the processing of personal data

3. Sources of personal data

VETRA processes such personal data as are necessary for the proper implementation of its business activities, especially the personal data of our partners and contact persons. This is especially the data that you provide in the contract (order) with us, or data that is available from public sources, or that we obtain from you during the negotiation of the contract and its fulfillment.

4. Purposes of using personal data
  • Negotiation of the contractual relationship
  • Performance of the contract you have entered into with us
  • dealing with your requests and queries
  • compliance with our legal obligations, accounting and tax purposes
  • our legitimate interest (e.g. exercising our claim arising from the contract)
  • providing information or offers that we believe may be beneficial for you
5. Processed personal data

With regard to the stated purposes, we process the following data in particular:

  • Business company, if applicable, name, surname, seat or place of business, ID number, VAT number, bank connection.
  • Data on persons authorized to act on behalf of the contractual partner and his contact persons – academic degree, first name, surname, telephone and e-mail address.
6. Transfer of personal data

Personal data can be for the purpose of fulfilling the contract you concluded with us, transferred and processed by third parties collaborating on the implementation of individual orders and subject to EU legislation and on the territory of EU countries, such as:

  • Transporters (e.g. companies transporting weights, courier services)
  • Verifying authorities (e.g. Czech Metrological Institute)
  • Subcontractors (e.g. external accounting agency )
  • State administration bodies (e.g. Tax Office)
7. Period of personal data processing

VETRA processes personal data for a period of time that is necessary due to the purposes of their processing. We continuously assess whether there is still a need to process certain personal data required for a certain purpose. If we find that they are no longer needed for any of the purposes for which they were processed, we will dispose of the data.

8. Method of personal data protection

We use security and technological i management processes that ensure an adequate level of security in relation to the threats associated with the processing of personal data, and their purpose is to protect the user’s data from its loss, theft, unauthorized access, misuse or modification.

9. Rights of data subjects
  • The right to access personal data held about you;
  • request to update or correct your personal data , to always be accurate;
  • obtain your personal data in electronic format for yourself or another controller;
  • request deletion your personal data, if they are no longer needed for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed;
  • restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances, for example when you have raised also object to the accuracy of your personal data, for a period allowing us to verify their accuracy;
  • raise an objection to the processing of your personal data for specific reasons related to your specific situation, which takes precedence over by our compelling, legitimate reasons for processing;
  • revoke your consent at any time, if your personal data is processed with your consent, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on consent before its withdrawal, or if there is some other legal basis for processing your data (e.g. overriding legitimate interests);
  • file a complaint with the data controller and/or the relevant data protection authority.
10. Cookie files and web site telemetry

VETRA uses “cookies“ and other common technologies for recognizing the device of the visitor to the website www.vetrainternational.cz and www.skalapp.com, without the possibility of unambiguous user identification. The use of cookies can be rejected in the user’s browser settings.

In order to ensure the smooth functioning of the website and its optimal settings for the user, we record the IP address of the accessing computer and information about the browser used, the visitor’s operating system, the time of the visit and the displayed website

11. Consent

By using our products and services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the above principles, we cannot provide you with our services. The use of our services after the introduction of this Privacy Policy is taken as consent to its wording.

12. Final Provisions

This Privacy Policy will be amended by VETRA if necessary. The current version of the Personal Data Processing Policy will always be available on the website www.vetrainternational.cz and www.skalapp.com.
