At the turn of April and May, we put the very first WK60 excavator scale into operation!

It is the result of several years of development by PFREUNDT, which launched it at the beginning of this year. In addition to the quality of weighing, particular attention was paid to ease of operation and speed of loading with the following results:

  • the operator does not have to manipulate the scale at all during loading and everything runs automatically
  • it is not necessary to stop or otherwise restrict the way of working during loading.

The VOLVO EC 380 ENL is equipped with four pressure sensors, four position sensors and WK60 electronics. The machine operator thus instantly obtains information on the weight of each individual bucket and the total load. He can load the vehicle accurately and gets precise information about the productivity of the machine. He can, of course, print a weighing ticket for each load.
